Pascal Izzicupo, PhD, è Professore Associato di Metodi e Didattiche delle Attività Motorie, Direttore del Percorso di Abilitazione A-48 Scienze Motorie e Sportive nell’Istruzione Secondaria di I e II grado e Responsabile Scientifico del Corso di Formazione per Dirigenti in Strategie e Gestione Sostenibile delle Società Calcistiche, presso il Dipartimento di Medicina e Scienze dell’Invecchiamento, Università degli Studi “G. d’Annunzio” di Chieti-Pescara (a.a. 2025/26).
Inoltre, è formatore di livello 3 per l’International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK). I suoi interessi di ricerca riguardano l’attività fisica e i comportamenti sedentari, la valutazione antropometrica e la composizione corporea in ambito sportivo, preventivo e rieducativo e la doppia carriera degli studenti-atleti.
È autore di oltre 100 pubblicazioni, svolge attività editoriale per riviste internazionali come Associate Editor, Guest Editor, Review Editor e Topic Editor, oltre alla curatela di manuali tecnici di settore. Coordina e partecipa a numerosi progetti finanziati a livello europeo e nazionale, tra cui progetti Erasmus+ e COST Actions.
Pascal Izzicupo, PhD, is Associate Professor of Methods and Teaching of Physical Activities, Director of the A-48 Teacher Qualification Programme in Physical Education and Sport for lower and upper secondary schools, and Scientific Director of the Training Course for Executives in Strategies and Sustainable Management of Football Clubs at the Department of Medicine and Aging Sciences, “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara (academic year 2025/26).
He is also a Level 3 instructor for the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK). His research interests include physical activity and sedentary behaviour, anthropometric assessment and body composition in sports, preventive and rehabilitative settings, and the dual career of student-athletes.
He is the author of more than 100 publications and serves in editorial roles for international journals as Associate Editor, Guest Editor, Review Editor and Topic Editor, in addition to editing technical manuals in the field. He coordinates and participates in numerous nationally and European-funded projects, including Erasmus+ projects and COST Actions.
